Presentation Guidelines

Essential information for CRYPTOLOGY2026 presenters on preparing, timing and submitting presentation slides.

Presentation Template

There is no specific presentation template required for CRYPTOLOGY2026. Presenters are welcome to use:

  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • LaTeX Beamer
  • Google Slides or other standard presentation formats
Use a clear and professional design that ensures the content is easily readable by the audience.

Presentation Duration

Each presentation is allocated a total of 20 minutes, including the Question & Answer (Q&A) session.

The Session Chair will strictly manage the allocated time to ensure that the overall programme remains on schedule.

Technical Requirements

There are no special technical requirements, provided that the slides use a standard presentation format. Presenters are advised to:

  • Ensure all slides are readable and properly formatted.
  • Test videos, animations, hyperlinks and other multimedia before the session.
  • Bring a backup copy of the presentation where possible.
  • Ensure compatibility with commonly used presentation software.

Submission of Presentation Slides

Deadline: 28 August 2026

Upload your slides through the Official Conference Drive and place the presentation file inside your session's folder.

Early submission is strongly encouraged to facilitate technical preparation and smooth coordination of the parallel sessions.

Presentation File Naming Convention

Name your presentation file using the following format:

PaperID_SessionXX_PresenterName

Example:

Paper01_SessionA1_ArifMandangan.pptx

Please ensure that the Paper ID and Session ID correspond to the official conference programme.

Immigration and Accommodation Guide

Important entry, travel and accommodation information for delegates attending CRYPTOLOGY2026 in Sabah.

International Delegates

International delegates travelling to Sabah should take note of the following entry requirements:

a) Passport Validity

  • Your passport must be valid for at least six (6) months from the date of entry into Malaysia.

b) Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC)

  • Foreign visitors are required to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) within three (3) days before arrival in Malaysia.
  • Delegates should complete the MDAC before travelling and present their passport and relevant arrival information when requested by immigration officers.

c) Visa / Entry Requirements

  • Visa requirements depend on the delegate's nationality.
  • Delegates should check whether a Malaysian visa is required before travelling.
  • The duration of stay permitted will depend on the applicable immigration requirements and the Social Visit Pass granted upon entry. Delegates must comply with the period of stay granted by Malaysian Immigration.

d) Return/Onward Ticket and Financial Requirements

  • Delegates should be prepared to present a valid return or onward ticket and demonstrate sufficient funds to support their stay in Malaysia.

e) Travelling via Kuala Lumpur (KUL)

  • If travelling to Kota Kinabalu via Kuala Lumpur (KUL), delegates whose first Malaysian port of entry is KUL should expect to complete Malaysian immigration clearance at KUL.
  • Upon arrival in Kota Kinabalu (BKI), delegates will undergo Sabah immigration clearance due to Sabah's separate immigration controls.
  • Delegates should allow sufficient time for immigration procedures and onward connections.

Domestic Malaysian Delegates

Malaysian delegates travelling from Peninsular Malaysia or Sarawak to Sabah should take note of the following:

a) Identification / Travel Document

  • Present a valid MyKad or Malaysian Passport when required.
  • Entry into Sabah is subject to Malaysia's special immigration provisions for East Malaysia.

b) Sabah Entry Slip (IMM.114)

  • Peninsular Malaysian visitors may be issued an IMM.114 entry document upon arrival in Sabah.
  • Keep the document safely throughout the stay and return it to the immigration authorities when departing Sabah, where required.

c) Duration of Stay

  • For social or business visits, Peninsular Malaysian visitors may be granted a stay of up to three (3) months under the applicable entry document.

Hotel Accommodation and Tourism Tax

  • A Tourism Tax of RM10.00 per room per night applies to international delegates staying at taxable accommodation in Malaysia.
  • Malaysian citizens and Malaysian permanent residents are exempt from Tourism Tax.
  • International delegates should expect the applicable Tourism Tax to be collected by the hotel upon check-in.
